Bobby Hotel / Nashville, TN

The first hotel on this list is truly pet-inspired. When your pup isn’t playing with their Nashville chicken chew toy or ordering gourmet dog food off the room service menu, they’ll enjoy the stunning views from their oversized balconies. Sasha, the Bobby Hotel mascot, welcomes visitors in this ultra-hip Nashville lobby and aids in the donation of funds to the shelter she came from. You may even take your dog to the rooftop bar, where you’ll sip drinks from a 1956 Scenicruiser bus which is now a lounge. The Waterfront Park dog park is just a few blocks away, as is Broadway, the city’s main road filled with music and a boisterous crowd of party-goers who adore dogs. So if the city of Nashville is on your list, the Bobby should be too!

The Betsy South Beach / Miami, FL

At The Betsy South Beach, the whole facility, including your accommodation, is dog-friendly. You’ll be living in a canine’s world at this artful Miami Beach hotel with three furry ambassadors: Betsy, Rosa, and Daisy, all of whom reside on the premises with the owners. In the tiniest details, a love for dogs is apparent. The owners’ late golden retriever, Katie, is imprinted on the room keys. And al of Betsy’s bars and restaurants serve BetsyRosa proprietary beer. The Underground Arts Gallery houses the works of dog photographer Carlos Andres Cruz. Your pet, too, will feel equally special at their facility. Take in the sunrise on the top-floor Ocean Front deck before heading out to stroll around Lummus Park. Lunch is a pleasure on the Ocean Drive patio of the in-house eatery, LT. Expect to do the spa together—choose “Pampering with Pooch” for a couples’ massage that includes a 50-minute massage for you and 10 minutes massage for your pup! The Besty is a paws-itively perfect South Beach stay.

The Charleston Place / Charleston, SC

This historic hotel in Charleston’s historic district has been transferred to new ownership and has been given a $200 million investment, with plans for many renovations. Upon arrival, dogs will receive dog beds, feeding dishes, and special treats and toys. Bayview’s concierge can also list all the excellent dog-friendly restaurants, breweries, and shops in the region, so you and your pet may explore off-property without worrying about being turned away. For example, the Downeast Windjammer allows you to take your pets on a trip around Frenchman Bay. Dogs weighing less than 40 pounds are welcome at Bayview, but they cannot be left alone in the room. Pet fees are $50 per pet each night, with a max of two animals per room.
